What to do with a gorgeous and unusual vintage ship’s cargo light that doesn’t quite suit tripod-mounting?
We used picture wire and fixings to create a unique pendant light, which would look amazing in any contemporary, industrial or nautical interior design setting.
Having been salvaged from ocean-going cargo ships, these lights were originally painted. Ours are stripped and polished.
The body is solid aluminium, pleasingly curvaceous, with thick glass and a steel protective cage.
Each is electrically refurbished with a new E27 light bulb fitting.
If you’re after a wall light, we can replace the original yoke, so these can be attached to a wall and angled to provide perfect task lighting.
