We are thrilled to be returning to the Bedruthan Vintage Festival 2017 next weekend after a break last year. This is the third year we’ve been at the fair and we always love going to this gorgeous hotel, with the beach just below along a wild and stunning coastline. Very different from the beaches of the south coast which we’re used to in Fowey!
If you’re a lover of all things vintage, the Bedruthan Vintage Festival is where you have to be for the weekend. From cocktail demonstrations, jive lessons, live music and dancing, vintage hairstyling and makeovers plus a display of beautiful vintage vehicles, there is plenty going on.
The fair itself is spread over four areas:
Mid Century Rooms – this is where you’ll find us – along with the best in furniture and decorative items from Cornwall and beyond.
Vintage Fashion Emporium – packed with collections from the South West’s best vintage fashion and accessory dealers.
Vintage Design Hall – brings together an array of stalls from Cornwall’s vintage inspired designers, hand-makers and upcyclers.
The Vintage Marketplace – Cornwall’s finest vintage curators including the best in vintage collectibles, kitchenalia, home and lifestyle wares.
Enjoy plenty of music, from vintage soul singer Emma Burnett, swing harmony from the Velvets classic crooner Andy Marshall and big band sounds from Company B.
An array of over 20 vintage vehicles including a classic Alfa Romeo, an E-type Jag, a Morris Traveller , a 1940s Landy to a restored VW Camper Van – all on display on the tennis courts.
You can also get a vintage makeover from hairstylist and makeup artist Francine Owens at her pop-up parlour next to the bar. Each session will show you how to create a victory roll, give your eyeliner a fabulous flick and help you perfect your pin-up pout.
St Agnes Ices will also be on hand with their gorgeous 1960s ice cream trailer selling delicious Cornish ice cream with retro toppings on the lawn.
Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th October , 10am to 4pm each day– we hope to see you there!
